Happy Friday! The 79th edition of Pitti Bimbo took place at the impressive venue of the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy, just two weekends ago! With innovative catwalks, bold colors, balmy beach looks, and lots of lace these mini hipsters were on top of the world!I Il Gufo captured it's audience with a goldfish filled center piece setting thee stage for its nautical flair....and Miss Blumarine nailed the feminine touch with her butterflies and lace! Looks like the kiddos are in for a very stylish summer in 2015 thanks to these innovative and inspiring designers! xo

Here Comes Pitti Immagine Bimbo 2014!

This year the semi-annual Pitti Immagine Bimbo will celebrate it's 60th year at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence on June 26-28th. This is an international event not to miss, as the world of children's wear gathers to view and present the newest lifestyle trends for kids of all ages. LOVE!! New to the show this year is "Baby World" an area dedicated to design and culture. It is a unique project that sets its sights on design for infants, and on the interaction between technology and fashion for the little ones an important sector that Pitti Immagine decided to make an annual event at Pitti Bimbo. In a recent interview, my favorite lady in the kids world, Giuliana Parabiago, Editor in Chief of VOGUE Bambini Italia, confirmed, "The Pitti Bimbo is unique and absolutely essential. It's without doubt the most important children's fair". She mentioned interesting points of how the industry has shifted, and the rhythm of collections seems to be changing with a lot of flash, capsule and mini collections vs. the typical two seasons a year. The KMP gals are SO excited to see what designers have in store for next years bigs and littles!... XOXO
