The Mod Child Editorial, Behind The Scenes DTLA Part 2!



Part 2 of my shoot for The Mod Child unveils two more great locations which were waiting to be discovered! I can honestly say that shooting in DTLA has taken me by sheer surprise—it's rich in color, full of arts & culture and provides lots of culinary hot spots! A must see, the new Grand Park LA has so many perks—it is spread throughout 3 entire blocks which include a stage, fountains, tons of grassy greenery, and the best part—there are hot pink benches everywhere! Since this editorial is all things fun and girly, we camped out here for a few to take wonderful images. We then skipped down Broadway and found a DEEE-lisciuos pizza parlor! KMP wants to extend a very special thanks to Ed Salsbury and Kerri Young from Elizabeth Peterson Group, Inc for helping us find new discoveries in our very own city of angels. Babiekins Magazine "Magnolia" Editorial

Here you have it—my "Magnolia" editorial for Babiekins Magazine Issue #11. I know you've been following a snapshot here, an image there, and have been viewing the posts and tweets for the last week. In this edition, I wanted to fully showcase the entire story as it is seen in the magazine. I had a blast on this photoshoot with the Babiekins editorial team, Magnolia bakery and of course, the beautifully talented kids we cast for the story. It was nothing short of excitement to know that this editorial would exude a 'first date' type of feeling, and all just in time for Valentine's Day. Take a look!
