On Monday, we said goodbye to one of my favorite designers of all time, an extraordinary man, a legend in the fashion world, and creative genius, Mr. Oscar de la Renta. This week's #FridayFavorite is a tribute to his life's work and the beautiful creations that only he could bring to life. Oscar rose to fame in the 1960s by dressing the elegant Jackie Kennedy and from there launched his own line in 1965! His gorgeous gowns have been a staple on the red carpet, worn by A-list starlets, and created iconic collection after collection! #FridayFavorite: Jamie Lee Reardin

We've made it, the weekend is here! This week's #FridayFavorite is the uber-talented illustrator, Jamie Lee Reardin. I first discovered this Toronto-born illustrator when she recently hand-illustrated thee chicest cut-outs for each guest at the Dior Beauty dinner party. Gasp! Jamie was discovered by Dior via Instagram and creates some of the most whimsical fashion illustrations I've every seen! Now she's moved on to do a 7 page collaboration with Fashion Mag, on newsstands Oct. 13th. Inspired by theatrical runway productions, couture, and even Tim Burton, Jamie and I share a love for all things fashion and art. Its Official, Fashion week has arrived!!! But first, lets highlight what you will see early October with Resort 2015! From sporty to classic, to ruffled or sleek, Polka Dots had a major moment during the Resort 15 shows. This vintage print pops up every few seasons and breathes new life into any silhouette. Top designers and labels, such as Stella McCartney, Versace, Jenni Kayne, Kenzo, Saloni, Rebecca Minkoff, Ralph Lauren and Fendi all incorporated the print into their latest resort collections, but not your typical spot!! These designers give this classic print a modern twist, each with their own style and flair. Love!! Be on the lookout, this recurring play on the circular shape is bound to appear on the runways of NYFW!
