A picturesque garden built on elevated and historical freight train lines bringing communities together amidst NYC's scenic urban landscapes. I discovered it a few years ago while shooting in the meat packing district, and it is a site to see!
Now home to many, The Highline has become not only an escape but a venue for Art installations, Fashion Shows, Exclusive events, community activities, great food, and the philanthropic collaborations. It is a non-profit organization and has become a main attraction for fashionistas alike. All collaborations are to benefit the maintenance of the Highline, now a pillar within the NYC landscape. I loved the most recent collab from J.Crew, Diane Von Furstenberg's feminine touch, and the Back to school Fashion show displays the creative ways to fuse fashion and art with philanthropy. Next up, their first time ever The High Line Art dinner, today, September 18th. Imagine a night under the stars, a performance created by a key artist featuring ballerinas and more! ALL proceeds will help High Line maintain their public art program which helps fuel many of the creatives helping us design our future. Talk about Inspired!!!!
