Choo Choo art train? Yes, please! I caught wind of an exciting new art project that was recently announced—Artist Doug Aitken is gathering a group of creative artists and musicians including Beck and Carsten Holler and sending them cross-country on an Amtrak train in September—it's titled "Station to Station: A Nomadic Happening." Over the course of 3 weeks they'll make 10 stops including Los Angeles, where they'll put on unique cultural events that celebrate each town's creative community. I definitely dig it and will announce more news on this as the date nears—I wonder what other artists "hop on board" for this unique happening.
