Friday Favorite: Jacquie Aiche
By:

The jewelry of Jacquie Aiche encompasses exquisite, wearable, specialty hand-crafted designs and has made it as an unforgettable Friday Favorite of mine. A woman after my own heart, she loves to travel the world in her constant search for new inspiration and unusual materials to incorporate into her work. This young designer and mother of two has caused quite the stir in the industry of fine jewelry, and attributes it to her upbringing and coming from diverse backgrounds—Egyptian and American Indian! Jacquie's approach utilizes the highest quality materials including 18 & 14 karat gold, blending some of the most beautiful precious gemstones such as diamonds, rubies and pink tourmalines with organic materials like turquoise and fossils—simply stunning! I happen to have a few of her pieces which I wear religiously and almost daily, as do the high-end clientele around the world. The love she exudes in making her items makes you feel like you're getting the most favorable personal touch with what your wearing. I love this woman, she not only has a heart of GOLD, but is a true gem!

The Dali Museum, FLORIDA

I'm loving the artistic additions lately in my inspirations for the blog. Travel and design go hand in hand and since the master artists of history really never die, I stumbled upon the massively inspiring Salvador Dali Museum in Florida. Just look at the exterior! One can only imagine the inside of this beauty—it literally feels like it materialized from the master's mind, doesn't it? As the expansion of the original Dali Museum built in 1982, the architecture is truly inspired by Dali's surrealism. Simply an admirable piece that everyone should enjoy and inspire upon, so please do as you take my photo tour!

It's so good to be home! After an action packed vacation spent in Capri, touring the Aeolian Islands, spoiled at the Hotel Raya in Panarea, lunch at Capofaro, Salina and late night volcanic eruptions in Stromboli, my final destination was Paris, Je t'aime! Apart from the walks along the seine, indulging in the best crepes on Isle St. Luis, a first class culinary experience at Yam T'Cha, the city oozes couture and culture. Fall is upon us and I cannot help but share these striking couture looks straight off the runway…with eloquent design and avant-garde elements to feature they will sweep you off your feet!
