Travel Tuesday: Singita Africa

A few years ago, I was fortunate to experience a very special game reserve in South Africa called Singita. My first stop was Lebombo in the Kruger National Park, the staff greeted us with authentic African song and dance, chilled hand towels kissed with the perfect amount of floral scents, then we were swept off to our individual glass houses nestled into the hillside.  In moments, I was fully immersed into a world of picturesque skies, harmonious architecture, and was blown away with the natural ambience and textures with impeccable detail. The lodges exulted style, sophistication and grace as if it were straight out of a story book. Each day I did two game drives, it was a life changing experience to be one with the animals in their natural habitat. With my camera never leaving my side, I captured moments I will never forget....it was a photographer's paradise! Our second stop was Boulders in the Sabi Sands. The property had a more rustic ambience, and our dining experience was truly remarkable. One night above a vast river, next in a Burma, and another night in a private wine cellar, between the two properties with our incredible guides and trackers, my group and I saw the Big 5 and more! It was off the charts, perfect! South Africa's beauty is undoubtedly a jaw dropper, tribal, and a visual journey everyone should experience at least once.
